LOVE IS BLIND (Chorus) In a world where things are changing Look and see the faces But know sometimes you will find That love is blind You don’t need sight to have vision Finding love is your decision Even though how hard it seems You can still go and follow your dreams (Pre-chorus) You can see the light even when its dark Even when it’s dark you can see the places And you can see the fight Even in the dark you can see the faces (Chorus) Darkness is just the absence of light If you continue you can put up a fight And however hard it may be Having hope is the key (Pre-chorus) (Chorus)

All alone far from home on a never ending highway look ahead don't turn back forget the pain of yesterday CHORUS Open up the door, let it all out see the new faces in new places now you have the chance to learn what life's about if you keep dreaming keep going it's your life enjoy the journey Endless sky birds fly by as the river sings a song brand new day cares away right now nothing can go wrong CHORUS X2
4.
*Instrumental of verse* Verse 1 I was so done with everything You didn't seem to be listening You don't really understand I wanted someone to lend a hand Chorus But I know I can handle it You aren't gonna stop me I'll keep on going And hold my ground *Instrumental of verse* Verse 2 I'm going strong, looking up Taking risks, and not backing down I might not finish the champion But I'm near the top, start counting down Chorus But I know I can handle it You aren't gonna stop me I'll keep on going And hold my ground Bridge This is to you, you told me I wouldn't make it To you, you told me I wasn't enough Thank you for making me strong You were the one that made me tough *Instrumental of Chorus* Chorus But I know I can handle it You aren't gonna stop me I'll keep on going And hold my ground

Intro Verse There was a man who was liking stuff on Instagram He wasn’t paying attention to reality There was a lady who was acting shady As she swiped across the screen. Oh what does this mean!?!? There is a girl who is sending snaps Wondering if she is liked perhaps There is a dude who is filming 7 second comedy it plays right into his sad psychology Chorus Technology has taken over more than we know Now we have 26 year olds playing Pokemon go Filters are the things that ruin our life Adding them to pictures of wildlife These little screens have taken over this decade Because without them we are afraid Of what life holds Verse There was boy who was running in the street Cuz there was vulpix lying by his feet There is a person playing flappy bird While their kid sits crying unheard Bridge Our generation is lost in space Throw into a digital place We are are throwing away our existence Too technology with no resistance Chorus Technology has taken over more than we know Now we have 26 year olds playing pokemon go Filters are the things that ruin our life Adding them to pictures of stupid wildlife These little screens have taken over this decade Because without them we are afraid Of what life holds Outro

about

This album is comprised of original songs written by students in Plugged In’s Music That Matters Summer Camp. Music That Matters is for kids ages 11-18 and includes band class, writing and recording an original song, creating a music video, busking in Harvard Square, various workshops and performing at a benefit concert that raises money for a charitable organization chosen by the students themselves. For the 2016 Music That Matters Session I concert, students raised money for the Carroll Center for the Blind (carroll.org).
