What can I do? When there’s nothing in the world, for me And all I have is what I can see We can change the world, for the better By spreading happiness, and coming together This time, I will do what is right And spread the light I don’t care, what people say ‘Cause it won’t, get in my way All I need, is to do a deed And share a smile, after every mile It’s better, to do something Than do nothing at all Changing the world, little by little Piece by piece, taking one step at a time We can only make an impact If we, show the world how to act But it’s time to show them all what I can be To make this world happy and free This time, I will do what is right And spread the light I don’t care, what people say ‘Cause it won’t, get in my way All I need is to do a deed And share a smile after every mile It’s better to do something Than do nothing at all I’m breaking out and turning everything around ‘Cause it will take more than hate to bring me down This time, I will do what is right And spread the light I don’t care, what people say ‘Cause it won’t, get in my way All I need is to do a deed And share a smile after every mile It’s better to do something Than do nothing at all

Why don't we just talk about it / We both know we're falling down again / I know you're from a broken home / But I can be your shelter, be your friend / There's no way to get around it / 'Cause you're tearing at the seams / You're the puppet of their dreams / And they're stringing you along / Life will bring you down, but you can break away / You've got your heart tied up, and your mind's ashtray / I know that you are scared, but push your fears away / 'Cause you can change the world in a million ways / Your life has been a meme, but only you can change the theme / It's a broke-down scene, of the American Dream / You think your story's been told / But you're 18 years old / You've got a restless soul / I just need you to know / We're here for you / There's only so much we can do / It's up to you it's up to you
